Roundham Head, 2001. Moderately resistant Permian Breccias and Devonian Mudstones form the slowly retreating headland. Goodrington Sands is retained as a pocket beach to the south (left) of the headland, which acts as a local sub-cell boundary. Note the lagoon behind the beach that is a remnant of now-reclaimed marshes that formerly existed behind the beach.
